Fees

After one or two initial meetings that serve as mutual assessment, we will agree on a set number of sessions, usually between 3 and 10. After this our contract may become open ended. However, should we feel that we cannot work with each other, you have the option of a referral to one of my colleagues in the practice. I see most clients once or twice weekly, but more or less frequent sessions can also be arranged if needed and appropriate.

I usually charge £100 for a 50 minute session, including our first meeting (but not including the free inquiry conversation). Please don't hesitate to ask about concessions as, especially in these times, I may have some lower fee spaces available. These are calculated by taking 1/1000th of your annual salary +£25 (for example: annual salary of 25k = £50/session). I offer package deals for combined individual and group sessions.

If you are on very low, or, indeed, no income, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that Number42 operates a Reduced Fee therapy service of which I am the founder and now Consulting Associate. This service is staffed by carefully selected and supervised trainee therapists as well as by qualified volunteer therapists. Fees for this service are negotiated individually depending on your financial circumstances, starting at £15 per week. Please contact me for more details.
